Our candle refill kits not only make for a fun activity, but also allow you to save your favourite glassware or even put together your own combination with your own glassware.
Complete with:
- 240g premium soy wax
- 1 x wick with adhesive
- 1 x icypole stick
- 1 x bottle of fragrance of your choice
Please note the wick selection is to suit our glassware range, or those with a 72mm diameter only. Please do not use with glassware substantially smaller, or larger than this diameter as desired results will be dramatically affected and can be dangerous in smaller glassware as it generates too much heat for it to handle.
Directions are as follows:
PREPARATION
Empty your existing vessel and remove the old wick. A tip for ensuring your glass is clean is to pour some boiled water in the vessel to loosen any remaining wax. Once the water has cooled and the wax has hardened, you will be able to remove the cake of wax and discard. Once the vessel is clean, stick the new wick in the centre of the base and press firmly. Thread the wick through the hole in the icypole stick, then sit the stick on the rim of the jar to keep the wick centred.
MELTING
1. Remove the wick, icypole stick and fragrance bottle from the pouch. Reseal the pouch.
2. Place the pouch in the microwave and heat until all wax beads are fully melted
1000W Microwaves: Full power for 2 minutes*
For different powered microwaves, adjust heating time according to the manufacturer's instructions. If the wax is not fully melted, reheat for intervals of 10 seconds until it is fully melted
3. Remove the pouch from the microwave. Gently tip the pouch from side to side to ensure all wax beads are captured in the melted wax. Allow to stand for 2 - 3 minutes to achieve an ideal temperature of 60°C.
4. Carefully open the pouch and pour in the contents of your fragrance bottle. Reseal the pouch and gently shake to ensure the wax and fragrance are mixed thouroughly.
5. Slowly pour contents into your prepared container leaving approx. 1-2cm from the top.
Leave the candle to set for a minimum of 24 hours.
